The Writers' Sanctuary is one of Pakistan's leading publishing houses. It was founded in 2021 with the aim of providing a convenient option to writers and assisting them in developing or improving their writing skills.
Once you are done with your book's manuscript, you fill out the author registration form on our website and wait for our response. Once we review the information, we'll get back to you with the publishing agreement and all the cost details. For more information, please read the Publishing Process from the menu.
The cost varies based on the number of pages, the quality of the paper, binding type, number of copies to be printed, and the size of the book. The author is informed in the agreement of all the relevant details including the total cost.
You can publish a book with no copies printed in advance using our Print-on-Demand (POD) model. Once your book gets published and goes on our website for online sale, customers can place an order for the book. Once the order is confirmed, we print the copy(s) and dispatch them. This way, the author does not have to worry about handling orders or shipping while they get their royalty as decided in the agreement.
If you choose the Print-on-Demand (POD) model instead of the bulk buying model, you can get your book published with a minimum of 30 copies.
The review process lasts one to two weeks, and the printing process takes around two to three weeks at max. An author can get their book published in a month from the time they fill the author registration form.
All intellectual rights belong to the author. The Writers' Sanctuary only holds the right to publish, sell and distribute the agreed edition of the book.
Royalty varies according to the model chosen by the author.
– In the Print-on-Demand (POD) model, the author gets 70% royalty out of profit on each copy sold.
– In the Bulk Printing Model, author gets 80% royalty out of profit on each copy sold.

The Writers' Sanctuary respects the intellectual property of writers. Once you submit your work, we ensure that it is never presented anywhere without your permission. If you do not proceed publishing with The Writers' Sanctuary for some reason after submitting your work for review, we do not publish it anywhere neither do we keep it with us any longer in case you choose not to work with us later on.
