They enjoy dogs, iced vanilla lattes, winter sunshine, apple pie, and the beach, and dislike beige clothing, summer, spicy food, card games, and group projects. Their literary influences include Bilal Tanweer, Usama Lali, Avni Doshi, and Arundhati Roy, and they are especially drawn to poetry and lyrical prose, citing writers like Ocean Vuong and valuing vivid imagery and abstraction to explore questions of love, care, and what it means to be human.
