About the author

Sidra Nisar

I am an MBA graduate with a long-standing interest in reading and writing, which has gradually evolved from a private practice into published work. In the past year, I have begun submitting my writing more actively to literary platforms.

My work has been recognized nationally: I won the ZHR Writing Prize 2025, and the winning piece was subsequently published in Dawn. I have won the runner-up position in the TWS Literary Excellence Award 2025 and have also been selected for the TWS Anthology Competition, with my story published in Dreams in Sepia. Alongside my literary work, I currently work as a freelance marketing and content writer, balancing commercial writing with creative nonfiction and short prose.
