About the Author

Zahra Noor Awais is a poet who writes from the depths of grief and the longing for connection. She is the author of Lunar Laments (2024). Her work has been featured in two anthologies, a magazine, and internationally in Poem Stellium (UK). For her, poetry is not about being healed, it is about being honest. She writes to make sense of her own loss, and to offer a mirror for others navigating theirs. She believes art is to connect, be it paintings, poetry or music.
