About The Book

'First Breath of Poetry,' is a collection of 50 poems that delve into various themes, including love, life, and the human experience. Through these verses, I share my emotions, reflections, and observations, inviting readers to step into my inner world. Each poem is a unique representation of my mood, thoughts, and feelings, offering a glimpse into my creative expression.

I have titled my book 'First Breath of Poetry' because it marks my inaugural foray into publishing. This collection is a milestone in my writing journey, and I hope it will inspire aspiring writers to embark on their own creative paths. My passion for writing was ignited during my undergraduate studies, where I analyzed the works of renowned poets like William Wordsworth, P.B. Shelley, John Keats, and Emily Dickinson. Their mastery of language, form, and emotional depth has been a constant source of inspiration for me.

Through 'First Breath of Poetry,' I aim to create a connection with readers, encouraging them to reflect on their own experiences and emotions. This collection is a reflection of my growth as a writer and my journey of self-discovery. About The Author

As an undergraduate student pursuing a BS in English at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), I, Saira Shafi Muhammad Rajar, have developed a profound passion for literature and linguistics. Hailing from Sanghar District and currently residing in Hyderabad for my studies, I have come to appreciate the value of resilience and determination. As the elder child of my parents, I have learned to navigate challenging situations and embrace personal growth. Living away from my family has taught me the importance of self-expression, and I have discovered that writing is my outlet for emotions and experiences. 

My academic interests are deeply rooted in literature and linguistics, with a particular fondness for creative writing, poetry, and storytelling. I find solace in both fictional and non- fictional works that not only enhance my writing skills but also broaden my perspectives. Through my studies, I aim to refine my writing abilities, explore diverse literary genres, and cultivate a unique voice.

Beyond academia, I have a keen interest in traveling, exploring historical sites, and immersing myself in the stories of the past. Observing ancient artifacts, architecture, and cultural heritage sites inspires me to weave narratives that blend the past with the present. As I continue to grow as a writer, I hope to make my family proud and contribute meaningfully to the world of literature.
